HB 2001 - The Dental Board may enter into diversion
agreements with licensees in lieu of pursuing formal disciplinary
action. The licensee must agree to be referred to a dental well-
being committee for a period of not more than five years. The
Board cannot enter into more than two diversion agreements with a
licensee. If the licensee violates the diversion agreement, the
board can seek formal disciplinary action based on the original
conduct. All statute of limitations toll during the period of
the diversion agreement. All records pertaining to the diversion
agreement are confidential.
