HB 1838 - This act requires all applications for a motor
vehicle franchise dealer to include certification of an
established place of business which must be performed by a member
of the Highway Patrol or an officer of a metropolitan police
department. On applications for licensure as a boat manufacturer
or boat dealer the certification will be performed by a uniformed
member of the Water Patrol, Highway Patrol or metropolitan police
department.
