Committee Purpose: The purpose of the committee shall be to review the rising costs of health care insurance in Missouri and to examine ways to reduce health insurance costs. The committee shall attempt to determine how much health insurance costs have increased in recent years, why the costs have risen so dramatically, and what effects these increases have on the lives of Missouri citizens. The committee will also examine the effects of state laws and regulations relating to health insurance.
