Committee
Purpose: The purpose of the committee shall be to discuss ways state government can improve voter confidence in the state's electoral system. Specific areas to be examined by the committee shall be: voter fraud; updating and maintaining accurate voter registration and voter rolls; the need for standardized counting statewide; improved disclosure laws for contributions to state officials; and the need for additional reporting requirements for candidate committees, continuing committees and other special committees. The committee shall receive input from interested parties and elections officials before formulating legislative proposals to reform Missouri's voting and campaig finance system.
