AN ACT

To repeal section 301.301, RSMo 2000, relating to motor vehicle license plate replacement, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the same subject.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Section 301.301, RSMo 2000, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 301.301, to read as follows:

301.301.  Any person replacing a stolen license plate or license plate tab may receive at no cost up to two license plates or license plate tabs per year when the application for the replacement plate or tab is accompanied with a police report or other information that is customarily provided by a police department that is corresponding with the stolen license plate or license plate tab.
