Current Bill Summary

SB 555 - This act prohibits television and radio stations or networks from including post-termination non-compete clauses in employment contracts. The act does not affect provisions requiring an employee to work exclusively for a particular employer during the term of the contract. The act does not apply to sales and management employee contracts. Employers who violate this act are liable for damages, attorney's fees and costs.
