SB 418 - This act declares that rules of the Missouri Supreme Court are void and unenforceable if they conflict with any law enacted by the General Assembly. Adoption of local rules are the prerogative of circuit judges and not subject to veto by a presiding judge, and a case assignment shall not be contrary with any local court rule unless the local rule is inconsistent with a Supreme Court rule. Rule 6.05, relating to circuit court rules, is repealed.

This act has an emergency clause.
