Current Bill Summary

SB 401 - This act establishes the "Missouri Multicultural Center and Program" within the office of the Lieutenant Governor. This center and program will serve as a resource for immigrants and refugees in Missouri and public and private entities such as school districts, public health agencies, businesses and advocacy groups. The center shall serve as a communications link to direct persons to opportunities, informational sources and resources.

A citizens' advisory committee consisting of twenty five appointed members will develop and implement this program.

This act has an emergency clause.
