SCS/SB 276 - The act provides that any foster child who is a resident of Missouri, is accepted for admission at a state-funded college or university and needs financial assistance must first apply for tuition assistance. After the foster child receives that assistance, the child will be given first consideration for the Missouri College Guarantee Fund which provides financial assistance for higher education to qualifying applicants.
