SB 219 - This act allows a surviving spouse to obtain an autopsy report. Currently, section 191.227, RSMo, outlines procedures for the release of medical records. A new subsection allows a surviving spouse to obtain the deceased spouse's autopsy report when the surviving spouse has appropriately consented to the autopsy under section 194.115, RSMo.
