SB 1032 - This act regulates unused property markets. The act prohibiting the sale of cosmetics or personal care products or any nonprescription drug or medical device. Sales of such items by authorized representatives are exempt. The act requires unused property merchants to maintain receipts for purchases containing specified information. Certain acts by unused property merchants, such as knowingly falsifying required receipts and refusing to make receipts available for inspection are prohibited.

The act shall not apply to certain sales, including sale of a registered motor vehicle or trailer, sale of wood for fuel or livestock, any business conducted in a trade show or property sold by catalog.

Any person who violates the act is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor for the first offense; a second violation is a Class A misdemeanor; and third and subsequent violations are Class D felonies.
