AN ACT

To amend chapter 558, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to certain sentencing provisions.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Chapter 558, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 558.014, to read as follows:

558.014.  Any person who commits any felony under the laws of this state by, with, or through the use, assistance, or aid of a dangerous instrument or deadly weapon shall not be eligible for parole, probation, conditional release or suspended imposition or execution of sentence until such person serves one hundred percent of the sentence attributed to such felony or until the defendant attains seventy years of age and has served at least forty percent of the sentence imposed, whichever occurs first.
