AN ACT

To amend chapters 37, 67, 172, 226, 252 and 286, RSMo, by adding thereto six new sections relating to grants and scholarships.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Chapters 37, 67, 172, 226, 252 and 286, RSMo, are amended by adding thereto six new sections, to be known as sections 37.342, 67.011, 172.212, 226.006, 252.035 and 286.303, to read as follows:

37.342.  Every award of a grant or scholarship provided under the authority of any agency shall contain a statement, in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".

67.011.  Any grant or scholarship provided under the authority of a city, county or other political subdivision shall in the notice of award contain a statement in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".

172.212.  Any grant or scholarship provided under the authority of the coordinating board for higher education or any public college or university shall in the notice of award contain a statement in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".

226.006.  Any grant or scholarship provided under the authority of the department of transportation shall in the notice of award contain a statement in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".

252.035.  Any grant or scholarship provided under the authority of the department of conservation shall in the notice of award contain a statement in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".

286.303.  Any grant or scholarship provided under the authority of the department of labor and industrial relations shall in the notice of award contain a statement in twelve point, bold-face type capital letters, which shall read substantially as follows: "THIS GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE TAXPAYERS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI".
