Senator Paul LeVota to Hold Town Hall Meeting

JEFFERSON CITY—State Sen. Paul LeVota, D-Independence, will host a town hall meeting at Truman High School in Independence on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7:00 p.m. Senator LeVota will discuss recent developments at the Missouri Capitol and will answer questions from constituents.  The event is open to the public.

“My job is to represent my constituents, and I can do that best by talking to them, one on one on if possible. Democracy functions best when there’s an open dialogue between the people and their elected officials. These meetings are a way to foster that ongoing conversation,” said LeVota. “I want to hear people’s thoughts and ideas on the issues that matter to them, so I can make their voices heard in the Capitol. I strongly urge people to come if they can.”

The town hall meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, in the main lecture hall at Truman High School, located at 3301 S. Noland Rd., in Independence. For more information regarding this event, contact Sen. LeVota’s Capitol office at (573) 751-3074.
