Free Vaccinations for Your Four-Legged Friends

Kansas City is partnering with Raytown Animal Hospital for its free pet vaccination and microchipping clinics designed to keep your pets safe and healthy. This event is open to all Kansas City pet owners whose pets are not current on rabies vaccinations and licensing.

The next event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30, from noon to 3 p.m. at Marlborough Park (83rd St. and Park Ave.). Rabies vaccinations and microchipping are free. However, pet owners attending the event are required to buy a city license for each participating pet. The cost of each license is $10. All owners attending this event are asked to keep their pets on a leash or in their carrier.

For more information on free vaccinations for your pet, call Patrick Egberuare at the Animal Health and Public Safety Division of the Neighborhoods and Houses Services Department at (816) 513-9803. You can also contact Dr. Heath Rose at the Raytown Animal Hospital by calling (816) 353-3666.
