New Website Helps Missouri Move Forward as a Business-Friendly State

As Missouri continues to move forward as a business-friendly state, officials in Jefferson City work to make it easier to do business in the Show-Me State. Secretary of State Jason Kander recently launched a new website that allows Missourians to file nearly all necessary business forms online. Before the creation of this new site, only five business forms were available to businessmen and women online.

Through www.sos.mo.gov/fileonline, this easy-to-use website helps propel business owners in our state to the next level, allowing these men and women to spend their valuable time doing what matters most for their businesses, not struggle through paperwork in what is now a digital world. In addition, businesses and nonprofit organizations will have access to their filing history through this new site, which will help them for their future filings.

For more information about the new online system for business owners, call (866) 223-6535.

As stated on the Secretary of State's website, users must log in with an ID and password before filing documents online. New visitors should click "Create Account" to set up a new account. An account is NOT required to conduct a business search or verify certificates.
