Week of 12.06.10:
Senator Stouffer discusses three of the bills he's prefiled ahead of the next regular legislative session. Senate Bill 4 would repeal the "Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act," Senate Bill 5 would require drug testing for those eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits, Senate Bill 3 and Senate Joint Resolution 2 would establish Voter ID and put it on a future ballot. The First Regular Session of the 96th General Assembly will start on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.

In a press conference held on Jan. 12, 2010, Sen. Stouffer announced the filing of Senate Concurrent Resolution 35 — a measure that states the disapproval of the new values for agricultural and horticultural property filed with the Secretary of State's office on December 21, 2009, by the State Tax Commission.
