October 26, 2010: A group of home school students from Rolla made the trip to Jefferson City for a visit. Those visiting included parents Denise Larsen, Sheila Roylance, Heydi Mosher, Emily Wood, and Serenity Reeser.  Students on the trip included Susannah Roylance, Shannon Roylance, Jorin Larsen, Jantzen Larsen, Joshua Mosher, Maddison Mosher, Maddison Mosher, Mariah Mosher, Jarrett Mosher, Mikelle Mosher, Josh Wood, Jack Wood, Sam Wood, Frank Wood, Juliet Kofoed, Summer Kofoed, Brenton Reeser, Serena Reeser, Alanna Reeser, and Dallin Reeser.  June 23, 2010: A 4-H group participating in the "Missouri Citizenship in Action" program on the Senate dais. The group included students from throughout the state and Robin Loehner, co-coordinator of the program and Youth Specialist from the Gasconade and Maries counties 4-H extension.

May 13, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with Major General David and Melissa Quantock. General Quantock is the new commanding general of Ft. Leonard Wood. May 13, 2010: Sen. Barnitz presents Gen. Quantock with a Senate resolution thanking him for his service.
May 5, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with 7th and 8th graders from Chamois. May 4, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with Ken Fiebelman. Sen. Barnitz nominated ken to receive a Senior Service Award from the at the lieutenant governor's annual Senior Service Awards.
May 3, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with 4th and 5th graders from Dent/Phepls R-3. This class includes Sen. Barnitz's daughter Kenadie and his niece Alyson Earl both of Lake Spring. April 28, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with students from Waynesville R-VI School District and their teacher Kim Hawk.
April 23, 2010: Fifth graders Sara Schmidt, Brittany Dulle, Hana Plassmeyer visited from Westphalia with Janice Plassmeyer and Joe Schmidt on Earth Day. April 23, 2010: David Mast, Jeremy Clemens, and Tommy Tran, who make up the "Solar Car Team" at Missouri S&T visited for Earth Day at the Capitol.
April 22, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with his cousin Savannah Trujillo, an eighth grader who visited with her Kansas City school. April 21, 2010: Senator Barnitz with fourth graders from Visitation High School in Vienna with their teacher Constance Gildehaus.
April 21, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with a group Waynesville High School students and their teachers Gary Young and Tim Belshe. These students received the top scores on their constitution test. April 20, 2010: Heather and Shelby, daughters of Ned and Maria Stille of Bellflower with Sen. Barnitz. They visited the Capitol and took a tour of the Whispering Gallery and top of the dome.
April 18, 2010: Sen. Barnitz got the opportunity to present one of the rifles at the M-1 for Vets rifle presentation in Owensville. The program provides wounded veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan an opportunity to continue in shooting sports.
April 13, 2010: Kristen Karpowecz of Cuba and Jessica Bostick of Bourbon vist in Sen. Barnitz's office as a part of their Sophomore Pilgrimage. April 18, 2010: Sen. Barnitz speaks at the M-1 for Vets rifle presentation in Owensville.
April 7, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with Kevin Barker of Linn, who was appointed to the Corrections Officer Certification board. April 13, 2010: Sen. Barnitz with Jim Fels, President of the Rolla Lions Club. The Rolla Lion's Club celebrated their 75th Anniversary and Sen. Barnitz honored the organization with a resolution.
