PROPONENTS: Supporters say this bill would allow Scotland
County to improve county roads. Many roads are on a bed of clay
soil and need more than the gravel that existing funds provide.
The improvements would help postal and bus drivers and the
citizens of the county.
Testifying for the bill were Representative DeMarce; Scotland
County Commissioners; and Missouri Limestone Producers.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
