Current Bill Summary

SCS/SBs 795 & 796 - This act combines the provisions contained in SB 795 and SB 796, relating to business organizations.

The substitute provides that certain foreign corporations, limited liability partnerships and limited liability limited partnerships shall not to be required to register with the Secretary of State under designated provisions of Corporation and Partnership Laws.

Additionally, the two year time limit is removed to reinstate a corporation's registration with the Secretary of State if it has been revoked or the corporation has administratively dissolved. The Secretary of State is not required to reinstate the corporation.

This act has an emergency clause.
