SB 677 - This act removes the provision in current law that Proposition C school levy rollbacks shall not reduce an operating levy below the minimum levy of two dollars and seventy-five cents per one hundred dollars assessed valuation. The act authorizes a school board to raise the operating levy back up, after observing all required reductions, to no more than the lesser of the district's tax rate ceiling or the minimum levy.
