HCS/SB 673 - This act requires local law enforcement agencies to determine whether homicides are related to domestic violence, and to report such findings to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on forms that the Patrol shall develop and distribute by October 1, 1998. Completed forms shall be forwarded to the Highway Patrol no later than seven days after a suspect is arrested for the homicide. The Highway Patrol shall compile annual reports based on the information. Any employee of a law enforcement agency who in good faith sends such information to the Highway Patrol shall be immune from liability. The provisions of this act were truly agreed to in HB 1918.
