SCS/SB 534- This act specifies that work papers and draft audit reports in the custody of the State Auditor are to be considered closed records.

However, the information will be available to:

1. Law enforcement agencies; 2. Prosecuting attorneys; 3. Independent reviewers conducting external quality control reviews; and 4. Employees of the Joint Committee on Legislative Research in the course of a review of the Auditor's office.

Personally identifiable information is to be kept confidential unless revealed in the course of a criminal matter. Violations of this act constitute a Class D felony.
