Current Bill Summary

SB 528 - This act requires high school students to get the approval of the high school superintendent before applying for a driver's license. The school board of the district shall set the criteria for approval. The requirement applies only to those under age 18. This act includes students in private high schools, GED programs and students in home schools. The Director of Revenue shall take care of the forms.
