SB 935 - This act requires insurers to offer coverage for physician prescribed equipment, supplies and self-management training to be used in the management and treatment of diabetes. Coverage shall include persons with gestational, type I and type II diabetes. Health care services could not charge greater deductibles or copayments for these service and may not reduce or eliminate coverage due to the requirements of this act.
The act would apply to policies issued or delivered after
January 1, 1997.
