Current Bill Summary

SB 858 - This act changes the statutes pertaining to HIV testing. It would allow laboratory tests to detect the presence of the HIV infection in blood and other biological specimens taken from an individual. It would also require medical care providers to report all persons diagnosed with the HIV infection to the Department of Health regardless of how the diagnosis is determined.
