SB 850 - This act expands an out-of-state peace officer's
fresh pursuit powers into Missouri to cases where the officer
believes someone is driving while intoxicated or driving with
excessive blood alcohol content. Under current law, the officer
must believe that the person is committing a felony to exercise
fresh pursuit powers. DWI is a Class B misdemeanor and driving
with excessive blood alcohol content is a Class C misdemeanor.
