SCS/SB 640 - At the present time the sales and use tax exemption on aviation jet fuel will expire on December 31, 1996. This act extends the date until December 31, 2001.
Current law sets a use tax on sales of jet fuel at Missouri
airports, with an exemption for airports eligible for federal
grants and a December 1996 termination date. This act exempts
such airports from any sales or use tax adopted after December
30, 1987.
