SJR 20 - This resolution, if approved by the voters, would remove current restrictions on the investment of public funds by the State Treasurer. Under current provisions, the Treasurer may place funds in Missouri banks and in instrumentalities of the U.S. Government. This act also permits funds to be invested in prime money market instruments (investments with a maturity of one year or less), prime commercial paper and money market mutual funds. RONALD J. LEONE
