Current Bill Summary

SB 327 - Missouri currently has a "modified" open primary law in which voters may vote for the candidates of the party of their choice but, after making that choice, they cannot vote for candidates of the other party. This act requires that voters be given a single primary ballot and allows them to vote for the candidates from either, or from all, of the parties on the ballot. The winner in each party would then be placed on the general election ballot.
