HCS/SB 207 - Members of the Missouri National Guard who are called up for active duty are entitled to reemployment rights guaranteed by federal and state law. This act requires the Missouri Attorney General to enforce those rights.

Any recipient of a higher education scholarship may post- pone his attendance and enter Missouri National Guard service or participate in National Guard programs for two semesters without losing scholarship eligiblility if he attends college immediately after such service. The scholarship recipient shall do the following to retain eligibility: 1) notify the institution that he intends to retain his eligibility; 2) provide the institution with a certificate of satisfactory service from his commanding officer; and 3) comply with all other eligibility requirements.

This provision is similar to HCS/SB 385.
