SB 200 - This act provides a reemployment preference to State Merit System employees who resign to provide care for children under the age of ten years. Any such person shall, upon taking a merit exam for reemployment with the state, be given a five-point parental preference if the person is not otherwise gainfully employed for the prior two years.
