SB 162 - This act contains provisions pertaining to crimes involving watercraft and related criminal investigation procedures.

CRIMES - A speed limit of 30mph is imposed between 1/2 hour after sunset and 4:00am the following day. Leaving the scene of a vessel accident is made a Class A misdemeanor or a Class D felony (for prior offenders and when injuries result). The muffler requirements for boats are rewritten. No person may position a vessel to obstruct the normal flow of water traffic.

PROCEDURES - Toxicology reports from vessel accidents shall go to the Missouri Water Patrol. Watercraft livery records shall be made available to any law enforcement officer. RONALD LEONE
