Current Bill Summary

SB 95 - In 1993, the General Assembly enacted House Bill 502 which changed provisions on reimbursable employers (not-for- profit) by requiring them to reimburse the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund for 100% of their costs rather than allowing these costs to be paid by the state's Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund. These new requirements were to be phased in over a three year period beginning in 1996 and reaching 100% in 1998.

This act repeals these provisions, restoring the law as it existed in 1993.
