SB 44 - Under provisions of this act, those persons who were employed by a public school district in Missouri in a teaching capacity for less than a full working day for each day of their employment, may elect to purchase such service and receive pro rata credit. Such credit shall not exceed ten years.
Election for this purchase must be made within five years of August 28, 1995, or within five years of the person's entry into the public school retirement system, whichever is later.
Provisions for the purchase of this service are set out in
section 169.582 of this act.
