CCS/SB 16 - This act will make the "Housing Authorities Law" applicable to every county in Missouri. Under current statutes the Housing Authorities Law applies to counties with a population of four hundred thousand inhabitants or more (St. Louis and Jackson).
Section 99.134 is revised to properly apply to the housing
authority in Jackson County; this section specifies the
commissioners for that authority. A commissioner of any
authority may be an officer or employee of the city or county for
which the authority is created.
