HB 593 -- Military Service Retirement Credit
This bill permits a member of the General Assembly to elect to be credited with up to 4 years of additional service credit toward retirement for service rendered in the armed forces of the United States prior to joining the General Assembly, as long as the member is not eligible to receive retirement credits or benefits from any other public or private retirement plan, except for a United States military service retirement system, for this service.
