HB 496 -- Water Quality Certification
This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to issue or deny water quality certification for any Clean Water Act Section 404 permit application within 90 days of the issuance of joint public notice by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The certification will be considered issued if the department fails to act within the 90-day period.
