HB 444 - This act provides that a military veteran with a permanent disability, as established by a physician's signed statement, only needs to provide proof of the disability to the Director of Revenue when making the initial application for "Disabled Veteran" license plates.
Disabled veterans may place the special license plates on
commercial vehicles with a gross weight of up to 24,000 pounds,
up from the current limit of 12,000 pounds.
