HB 309 -- Driving Offenses
This bill adds several convictions for intoxication-related driving offenses to the offenses which permit Springfield to subject to forfeiture any motor vehicle operated by a person who: (1) is not permitted to obtain a driver's license because he or she has been convicted 3 or more times of a crime related to driving while intoxicated; (2) has been convicted of driving while intoxicated twice within a 5 year period; or (3) has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter while operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
