HCS/HB 223 - This act permits a city, town, village or
county to pass an ordinance for the repair of lateral sewer
service lines on residential property having six or less dwelling
units. The fee must be approved by a majority vote. The city,
town, village or county will be acting on behalf of the
unincorporated area located within the sewer district. Such fees
may be added to the general tax levy bills of property owners
within the city, town, village or unincorporated area of the
county.
