HB 48 -- Indigent Health Care Study
This bill directs the Department of Health to conduct a study of uncompensated hospital care in this state. The study will analyze data from hospitals which wish to participate in future state programs to compensate private hospitals which serve indigent patients. A final report of the study will be submitted to the Governor and legislative leaders by January 15, 1997.
