SB 1442 - Under the act, a public utility under the jurisdiction of the Public Service Commission shall not prohibit utility customers in its terms of service from the ability to bring a civil action or a class action against the public utility or from limiting the ability to bring any action to only actions brought in a small claims court or arbitration.
