SB 1428 - This act changes the punishment for the offenses of: · Abusing an individual through forced labor;
· Trafficking for the purposes of slavery;
· Trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation;
· Sexual trafficking of a child in the first or second degree; and
· Promoting prostitution of a minor.
to life without eligibility for probation or parole.
Additionally, this act changes the age in the offense of promoting prostitution from 16 years of age to 18 years of age.
