SCS/SB 1401 - Beginning on August 28, 2024, in the event that the Board of the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System ("MOSERS") certifies a contribution rate that exceeds 28.75%, the Commissioner of the Office of Administration shall include in its appropriation request an amount equal to the difference between the certified contribution rate and 28.75% of the compensation of members who are employees of certain state higher education institutions. Except to the extent that state funds have been appropriated and paid to MOSERS, the state higher education institutions shall remit the contribution amount. This act is similar to HB 2760 (2024).
