SB 1389 - Currently, circuit clerks receive compensation in an amount based on the county or city in which the circuit clerk serves. This act modifies the provision to provide that the circuit clerks shall receive compensation in amount of 62% of the annual salary of an associate circuit judge. This act is similar to HB 1630 (2024) and HB 998 (2023).
