SB 518 - In Jackson County, each person that may serve as a grand or petit juror shall receive $25 for each day he or she is called and $0.26 for each mile from his or her place of residence to the courthouse and returning. In addition, if the person actually serves as a grand or petit juror, he or she shall receive an additional $25 per day. The compensation shall be paid from funds collected by the circuit clerk from a fee assessed by the circuit court within the county. KATIE O'BRIEN
