SB 506 - This act modifies provisions relating to the inspection of commercial motor vehicles. The act repeals the requirement that roadside inspections shall be random, and requires qualified individuals to have probable cause before conducting roadside inspections to determine compliance with certain vehicle size and load limits. The act replaces several references to "vehicles" or "commercial vehicles" with the term "commercial motor vehicles", and limits that term's meaning to the definition specified in the Uniform Commercial Driver's License Act.
