Current Bill Summary

SB 3 - This act creates the Revolving Door Reform Act.

Under current law, members of the General Assembly, all statewide officials, and all persons appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate are prohibited from becoming a lobbyist until six months after the expiration of his or her term. Under this act, that waiting period is extended to two years after the expiration of his or her term.

This act is identical to SB 4 (2017 First E.S.) and SB 3 (2017).
