SB 1088 - This act provides that the Coordinating Board for Higher Education shall not require as a condition for the approval of a new degree program the development of cooperative agreements between four-year institutions of higher education for the purpose of offering graduate degree programs. The act also allows the governing boards of Central Missouri State University, Southeast Missouri State University, Missouri State University, Northwest Missouri State University, Missouri Western State University, Missouri Southern State University, Harris-Stowe State University, and Truman State University to offer baccalaureate and graduate degree programs. The act also repeals several provisions that govern certain degree programs at certain higher education institutions, as described in the act. JOSHUA NORBERG
